OYAP Participant and Registration Form.

This is required for all students doing a co-op placement in a skilled trade.

OYAP wallet cards should be carried by all OYAP students while at their placement.  Students with a Registered Training Agreement should also carry the letter confirming their registration from the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development.

The Skilled Trades Bursary Program provides a bursary in the amount of $1,000 to students who have financial and other barriers to completing the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). The nominee will have earned or is earning a minimum of two coo

The Skilled Trades Bursary Program provides a bursary in the amount of $1,000 to students who have financial and other barriers to completing the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). The nominee will have earned or is earning a minimum of two cooperative education credits in a skilled trades (OYAP) placement and has demonstrated leadership in the skilled trades. Leadership skills demonstrated may include mentorship, participating in a conference/skills competition or sharing experiences to the broader student population. Students in Grade 11 or 12 enrolled in a Skilled Trade OYAP Cooperative Education 2-Credit program qualify for the program. Applications are due by April 4, 2025. Nomination Form is to be completed after consultation with the student.
