Accelerated OYAP is just as the name implies, a way to blast off into an amazing career in the skilled trades through apprenticeship, while you are still in high school. This second-semester program is a combination of cooperative education and Level 1 apprenticeship training at a college or training centre. It’s a way to gain valuable on-the-job experience and also complete the Level 1 Apprenticeship training in your trade - key components to becoming a great candidate for employment.
